How does Froog find the cheapest prices?

We scrape live product pages from 9 major US and Canadian grocery retailers in real-time. When you add an item to your cart, we search across all supported stores and return actual current prices.

Which retailers does Froog support?

In the US: Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and Target. In Canada: Amazon.ca, Walmart.ca, Loblaws, Metro, and Sobeys. We are actively adding more retailers.

Is Froog free to use?

Yes! The free tier lets you create up to 3 carts with 10 items each, compare prices, and run optimizations. The Pro tier ($4.99/month) adds unlimited carts, priority price updates, and advanced features.

Does Froog work with my store memberships?

Absolutely. You can add your Amazon Prime, Walmart+, and other memberships in settings. Froog factors in member-exclusive pricing and free shipping thresholds when optimizing your cart.

How accurate are the prices?

Prices are scraped directly from retailer websites and are typically accurate within a few hours. Prices can vary by zip/postal code, so we use your location for the most accurate results.

Do I buy through Froog?

No. Froog is a price comparison and optimization tool. Once you see the best way to buy your cart, you go directly to each retailer's website to purchase. We link you straight to the product pages.

Can I use Froog for both US and Canadian stores?

You select your country (US or CA) during setup. Each country has its own set of supported retailers. You can change your country in settings at any time.

How does the cart optimization algorithm work?

Our optimizer evaluates all possible ways to buy your items, including single-store options. It considers per-item pricing, shipping costs, free-shipping thresholds, and your memberships to find the combination with the lowest total cost, whether that's one store or several.

What payment methods do you accept for Pro?

We accept PayPal for Pro subscriptions. You can manage your subscription from your dashboard at any time.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. You will keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
